The sooner the better! I am able to take on a limited number of reservations each month. To secure your spot, I would recommend booking 3-4 months in advance.
-
Our minimum amount for custom orders is $300.
-
Our turnaround time for orders depends on the time of year and the influx of orders. On average, expect about a 4-6 month turnaround time, however, this is not an exact timeline. I never rush any orders and always want to make sure the details of your preservation is as perfect as possible before shipping to you.
-
To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth. Please keep your item out of direct sunlight and away from harsh chemicals (perfume, hair spray, cleaning products) as these things can discolor the resin. To minimize scratches, handle with care.
Order Shipping + Updates:
-
You will receive step-by-step instructions and video that explains how to get your flowers to us safely and quickly. I send these instructions about 1 month prior to your event. We require overnight/next day delivery for all fresh flowers. The longer the flowers wait to be dried, the higher the risk of wilting and bruising.

Based in Snohomish, WA but can ship all over the US! We have a local drop-off/pick-up option if you’re local to the area.
-
Yes! For custom work, we are only able to accept pre-dried flowers and the client is responsible for all shipping costs and checking with customs for their area. For orders in our shop, we can ship internationally.

We have a new feature for all custom orders! Once you sign the contract and pay the deposit, you will receive an email with login information to a private page on my website. This page will be dedicated to your own custom floral preservation! You’ll see details about your order, live updates on it’s progress and photos I upload as I work on your custom piece. You can send requests and comments through a form on your page and if you need even more information, you can simply email me at alpinecoastdesign@gmail.com
While I strive to keep you updated as frequently as possible, please understand that my primary focus is on completing orders. I want to ensure that each item receives the attention and care it deserves.
Design + Color Q’s:
-
I love this question! Since I started this business, I knew I wanted the experience for my clients to feel personal and custom tailored. So, we do collaborate together to create your custom designs! After the flowers are dry, we will confirm the items you would like and I will start the first mock-ups. You can guide me the rest of the way – if you want something changed, a specific flower added, and so on until we come to a decision that you approval of. These are YOUR custom pieces and I want to make sure it’s exactly how you like it.
-
It does. Over time, the resin might develop a slight amber-like glow. It is an inevitable effect from the natural aging of all resin products. This is why we recommend for you to keep all resin products out of direct sunlight to slow down that process. Each step of the resin process will contribute to the longevity of your floral preservation. That is why I take my time and never rush through orders so that your art will be in the best quality.
**To limit the amber hue, we highly encourage using a black background for your preservation! This helps immensity overtime compared to large block resin that is clear and will show the color change much faster.
-
Although color-correction can be beautiful, I do not offer this service. I love the natural look that dried flowers give us in resin, so my style of work reflects that!
-
Your flowers will go through a transformation process while it is being preserved. Some changes that can occur during the drying process are:
-Red/deep-colored flowers will get darker
-White flowers will develop into a more off-white or yellow tone.
-Some tropical flowers/greenery may not survive the drying process or may turn a brown color.
-Some “bruising” or “translucent spots” may occur once resin is poured on the dried flowers. To reduce this, try not to handle/touch/throw your flowers.
Flower Specific Q’s:
-
It is very important to take special care to your flowers. Try not to touch the flower pedals or throw the bouquet if possible. Some bruising on flower pedals is unavoidable but does add beautiful character to your final preservation piece. Keep the flower stems in water and in a cool, dark place until the time of shipping.
-
Yes! If you would like to do so, we will email you instructions.
-
It depends on the size of your order. We assess every flower that is received and pick the most beautiful and healthy blooms/greenery. If your order is small, we always try to suggest shipping a smaller amount of flowers to help lower the shipping cost for you. If you would like to have any leftover flowers shipped back to you, please let us know at the time of booking. There will be a fee of $20 to cover higher shipping costs.
-
The flowers that are not used in your art piece can be sent back with your order upon request. Requests must be made at the time of flower delivery. If you want them returned to you, it will be an additional fee of $20 to cover higher shipping costs.
Other Common Q’s:
-

We highly encourage you to prepare all the material needed for shipping the flowers prior to your wedding.

We would love to! You can either contact the florist that made your original bouquet and have them create a new one to send to us fresh, or, send us a picture of your bouquet and we will use our local florist to recreate it.

Yes! Pre-dried flowers are beautiful and preserve very will resin. If there is any mold or moisture, we cannot accept them. For all pre-dried flowers, please send us a picture while booking so we can evaluate the condition they are in.
